Joshua's story

With a first degree in architecture, Joshua Boaler researched project management Masters courses all over the UK, before settling on LJMU's Construction Project Management programme.

"Coming out of a degree in architecture I can honestly say that I expected postgraduate study to be much harder than it has been, but the standardised criteria on the course has made it really achievable.

I am getting a great deal out of my studies as the modules are really relevant to what I want to do. I have particularly enjoyed the collaborative modules working with quantity surveyors, architects and students from other disciplines.

LJMU has great facilities in terms of computers and software, much better than a lot of its competitors. The courses are well structured and take you through all of the relevant stages to prepare you for your dissertation. We see our supervisors and personal tutors on a regular basis and get great feedback from lecturers."
